If you are reading this post, there is a good chance you are suffering from a weakened immune system, chronic illness or unexplained fatigue. Maybe the symptoms started after a round of antibiotics. Perhaps you’ve noticed new food sensitivities lately. These can all be symptoms of an imbalanced GI tract.
My advice to you is heal your gut first. You want to repair the damage done to your intestinal lining.
Begin by removing the offending foods from your diet. This may involve using an elimination diet for about 3 weeks to see what foods you may be allergic or intolerant to. Or you can have an IgG blood test done. This has been the most accurate testing, in our experience and with my research, to catch both foods you are allergic and intolerant to.
Go ahead and add in a quality pre- and probiotic to your daily regimen. I’d suggest a therapeutic dose while healing your gut and later add in a maintenance dose.
Once you’ve given your gut a chance to heal, I’d suggest a cleanse or detox. A cleanse or detox is an attempt to remove toxins from the colon and intestinal tract.
You want to do this last because you don’t want to release toxins into your body while your intestinal lining is still porous. This allows those toxins to be released into your bloodstream which can make you sick and even allow toxins to set up shop in some of your organs!
There are several cleanses I would recommend. One being a candida cleanse as well as a heavy metal detox. Where you find Candida it’s highly likely you’ll find heavy metals. I would love to help you discover which program is right for you. Contact me for my 30-day cleanse and detox program that provides a plan you can follow.
Healing our leaky gut and detoxing from heavy metals and candida has been life-changing for us. In SO many ways! My kids’ hyperactivity slowed WAY DOWN, their focus improved, behavior and mood improved, immune system became stronger, less and fewer colds. The sweetest part of it was that I got my sweet boys back!
I hope you’ve found this information helpful!
