Why I LOVE my Essential Oils

Just today, I was thankful I have my own essential oil “medicine” cabinet. My three boys and I were enjoying a nice winter day in the woods. I had walked down one of our trails and when I came back, one of my boys had hit his knee pretty hard while swinging on a vine from a tree; he swung his knee into the trunk of the tree.

Luckily the boys had driven their 4-wheeler to where we currently were. I hopped on and drove to the house and retrieved some melaleuca (to cleanse) and Soothing Blend (for discomfort).

As I hopped back on the 4-wheeler, the step gave way (the plastic is brittle) and my foot and leg went through it. My knee, shin, and ankle screamed in pain! I rubbed some of the Soothing Blend into all of the areas and immediately felt better. I thanked God I had them at my disposal! I then hopped back on and was able to soothe my injured child.

This is just one tiny example of the difference they make in our lives.

The biggest difference has been in how it has helped build up our immune systems. We rarely get sick, if we do, we can manage it ourselves, and the length of time we are sick is GREATLY reduced.

These Gifts of the Earth–essential oils–are a gift from God. I really can’t imagine life without them. Their medicinal and therapeutic properties have empowered my family to be pro-active in our health and wellness. Not to mention they have lessened the frequency of doctor visits. An apple a day may keep the doctor away, but I believe these oils do too!

If you’d like to learn more about the oils I use, or how to get started using essential oils, contact me, and I’d be happy to help.
